My Tutor Quest – Student Guide
Important: Before buying any tutor or consultancy service, students must complete their profile. Some actions, such as sending enquiries, also require the checkbox to be ticked before a message can be sent
Student Signup Guide
Sign up as a student on My Tutor Quest and begin your learning journey with confidence.
Create your account quickly using your basic information.
Search for tutors or consultants by subject, level, or area of expertise.
Browse detailed profiles to compare experience, skills, and ratings. Choose the tutor or consultant that best fits your learning needs .Choose the tutor or consultant that best fits your learning needs.
Step 1: Register as a Student
The student begins by registering on the platform and entering all required details.
After successful registration, the student is redirected to the My Profile page.
Step 2: Complete the Student Profile
Pre filled details
- First name
- Last name
- Telephone number
- Email address
Remaining details to complete
- Country
- State
- City
- Full address
After entering all information, click Save and Update, then click Join Now.
Step 3: Reset the Password if Needed
Students can reset their password from the Login Details section.
- Click Reset Email
- Follow instructions sent via email
Step 4: Find a Tutor
Click Find a Tutor to open the tutor page.
Use filters
- Subject
- Level
- Price range
- Currency
- Availability
Click View Profile to see full tutor details.
Step 5: Contact a Tutor Through Chat
- Open tutor profile
- Click Chat Box
- Select subject (e.g., Primary Maths)
An automatic message is sent and tutor recommendations appear.
Important: The checkbox must be ticked before sending any message.
Step 6: Make a Decision and Buy Tuition
- Click Make a Decision
- Select Accept
- Wait for tutor confirmation
- Buy Tuition button becomes active
- Click Pay and Continue
Step 7: Find a Consultant
Click Find a Consultant from the top menu to view consultant categories.
Step 8: Use University Application Consultants
A visa disclaimer pop up appears and must be accepted.
- Search consultants using filters
- Filter by price and criteria
- View full consultant profiles
Step 9: Use Teacher Training Consultants
Students can filter consultants by training type.
Step 10: Use Student Wellbeing Consultants
An important message pop up must be accepted before continuing.
- Filter by consultancy type
- View education and counselling details
- Check availability
Step 11: Contact a Consultant Through Chat
- Click Chat Box
- Select requirement (e.g., Wellbeing Consultant)
- View recommended consultants
- Tick checkbox before sending message
Step 12: Make a Decision and Buy Consultancy
- Click Make a Decision
- Wait for consultant acceptance
- Buy Consultancy button becomes active
- Proceed with purchase
Final Reminder
Students should complete their profile fully before purchasing services and must tick the required checkbox before sending enquiries.
